The CFSSP Is Looking for Connestee Residents to Serve our CFSSP Board!

Do you believe in the value of education and have a heart for helping with the educational advancement of deserving students from our local community? The Connestee Falls Student Scholarship Program is a 501(3)(c) organization focused on raising awareness of the financial needs of students in Transylvania County and leading fundraising efforts focused on meeting those needs. Over the past 37 years of the program’s existence, the program has provided scholarships for more than 900 students.

 

The Scholarship Program is seeking Connestee residents to serve on the CFSSP Board to help keep this program healthy and growing. We are currently looking to fill up to three open Board positions with residents who are passionate about supporting the educational needs of our region. The CFSSP Board is a working Board that meets regularly to manage the framework in support of the activities that fund scholarships. Becoming part of the program isn’t a full-time job but we think you’ll find that the time you invest very rewarding. You do not need to be a full-time resident to serve on the CFSSP Board, just have a heart for advancing the educational needs of students in Transylvania County!
