The students of Transylvania County received more money in scholarships in 2026 than ever before due to record breaking fundraising in 2025!  The Program's success is a direct reflection of the incredible heart within this community.  From the personal generosity of our resident donors to the steadfast commitment of our local business sponsors, contributions to the program do more than fund projects, they are building a legacy.

We are exceptionally grateful to our three Golf  Tournament Sponsors:

Jennifer Merrell Title Sponsor $4,500.00  Re/Max Land of the Waterfalls

Paul Worley, Worley Construction and Remodeling  Lunch Sponsor  $3,500.00

Jordan Clark, Looking Glass Realty, Cart Sponsor, $3,500.00

We also thank Comporium for becoming a Celebration of Education Event sponsor for the second year in a row at $3,500.00!!

We are working hard this year to increase our visibility with local businesses.  We are highlighting our top business donors in the Connestee Falls Newsletter which reaches each household in the CF community. We have raised our annual goal of fundraising in 2026 to $300,000 and we hope you will join us again.

Our Community Commitment Committee will be focused on contacting businesses which are regularly used by Connestee residents.  If you know of a business we should contact, please let Kim McElwee kkmda42@aol.com  or John Margold jzm221@aol.com  know via email.

Please visit our website at cfscholarships.org, check out the events of clubs and sports groups held for CFSSP benefit and PLEASE REVIEW THE ABCS and 123s of Retirement Distributions to take advantage of  giving to charity from your retirement account without it counting as income.  If you are interested in becoming involved either as a Board member or committee member, please contact Kim McElwee at kkmda42@aol.com.
